My friend's vivid dreams about surfing inspired this painting.

Lisa Anne Tedesco: My lifelong dream was always to become a professional artist. Most of my life I was too scared to actually pursue this dream fearing I would fail. I hid by going to school as a career until I finally finished grad. school as a single mother. When I came to this realization I stopped running away from my passion and decided to take a leap of faith and become what I am meant to be. I owed it to myself and my daughter. Art makes me happy and in turn my happiness makes me a better mother. I am afraid no longer.
